TRENTON - Senator Shirley K. Turner, the Associate Director of Career Services at Rider University, made the following comments today concerning the sudden death of David Rebovich, the Managing Director of Rider's Institute for New Jersey Politics:
"Dave's death is a devastating loss to the Rider community of students, professors and administrators. His balanced and informed analyses of public affairs was a tribute to the quality of education available at Rider and consistently advanced fairness in the media.
"Journalists will be hard put to replace his knack for putting complex events in political perspective. Those of us in public service will miss his insights and his respect for government. And all of us will miss his friendship."
