Sean Hannity is a big fat idiot

It doesn't get much better on FOX than seeing the rare sight of Alan Colmes emerging from his protective shell and exposing Sean Hannity for the idiotic, hypocritical windbag he is.

Hannity, attempting to remove himself from the hole he dug, tried to make the claim that McCain was a POW who got beat up all the time as Edwards played with his hair and has a big house, implying that McCain has the moral authority to cheat on his wife who had been disfigured in a terrible car crash and raised their kids for years while he was a POW.

I wonder how many houses the McCains own that are the size of Edwards?

Whole or hole?

Rob Tornoe: "Hannity, attempting to remove himself from the WHOLE he dug, tried to..." (emphasis mine).

I wonder if "Idiot" Hannity would be able to use the word whole in proper context, because it is apparent that the cartoonist can't.

Those in glass houses should not throw stones. Wow.

Hannity

I've always liked Rush, Mark Levin and also enjoy Andrew Wilkow nowadays, but I never at any point, cared for Hannity. I'm not going to dispute all of the good that he does for the troops and their families but as far as conservative talk show personalites go, I think he's hands down, the biggest blowhard in the business.

An even better example of this was when the whole Elian Gonzalez controversey started and Hannity immediately started championing the rights of the father and how he needed to go back to Cuba. The following day, Rush said the complete opposite and Hannity did a complete 180 and changed his tune.

I'll listen to Hannity if I happen to be in the car or something but it's not like I'll go out of my way to listen to him.

He sucks you guys right in. So consider yourself sucked!- Bill Parcells

Hannity is a blowhard

He doesn't know his opinion until someone gives theirs first. Then his change in position, maneuvers or illogical and misguided attempted justifications, make John Kerry and Obama look like the pillars of consistency. He is a mouthpiece for the big government agenda and Republican party. He IS NOT a conservative and his claims that he is give conservatives a bad name!

Edwards is an empty suit.

How anyone can pretend John Edwards is anything less than despicable is really drinking the Kool-Aid.

Look, FOXNEWS is no more objective than Larry King, Wolf Blitzer or Anderson Cooper over at CNN.

FOXNEWS is here to stay.

Sean Hannity is an arrogant, uneducated windbag. That's what he does. Alan Colmes is the emaciated, weak knee liberal who resembles the Crypt Keeper!

The fool is Colmes. He pretends to be a liberal and is used as a prop to foster Hannity's positions and guests.

It's Colmes that's really pathetic.

The Point Is The Hypocrisy Stupid....

Read it and weep McCain lovers....

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1024927/The-wife-John-McCain-c...

(The speaker is John McCain's first wife...the one he dumped for the younger, healthier, prettier and richer model.)

>>>>>>>>>>‘My accident is well recorded. I had 23 operations, I am five inches shorter than I used to be and I was in hospital for six months. It was just awful, but it wasn’t the reason for my divorce.

‘My marriage ended because John McCain didn’t want to be 40, he wanted to be 25. You know that happens...it just does.’

Some of McCain’s acquaintances are less forgiving, however. They portray the politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his crippled wife to ‘play the field’. They accuse him of finally settling on Cindy, a former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons.

McCain was then earning little more than £25,000 a year as a naval officer, while his new father-in-law, Jim Hensley, was a multi-millionaire who had impeccable political connections.

He first met Carol in the Fifties while he was at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis. He was a privileged, but rebellious scion of one of America’s most distinguished military dynasties – his father and grandfather were both admirals.

But setting out to have a good time, the young McCain hung out with a group of young officers who called themselves the ‘Bad Bunch’.

His primary interest was women and his conquests ranged from a knife-wielding floozy nicknamed ‘Marie, the Flame of Florida’ to a tobacco heiress.

Carol fell into his fast-living world by accident. She escaped a poor upbringing in Philadelphia to become a successful model, married an Annapolis classmate of McCain’s and had two children – Douglas and Andrew – before renewing what one acquaintance calls ‘an old flirtation’ with McCain.<<<<<<<

The more people know about McCain; the less appealing he is.

If John Edwards deserves to go to political hell because he had an affair while his wife was in remission from cancer; and all he is is someone who came in third in the promaries...then to how much HIGHER a standard should the Republican Nominee for the Presidency be held??????????

Hell, even Ronald and Nancy Reagan were disgusted with McCain's behavior.   It was even left to Ross Perot to clear up his old wifes medical bills!

Meanwhile, McCain was cavorting with a rich young foxy  heiress  while he was still married to a disfigured accdent victim.

Imagine how you Republicans would be trashing Obama if he were guilty of such behavior!????!

But, of course, being a POW excuses everything, eh?

In a decent human being, suffering makes one more sensitive to the pain of others; not less.

McCain was a shallow sefish self centered phony before and after the war....and he remains one to this day.

Whatever respect I had for him was lost when he hired the Karl Rove crew to run his campaign and McCain started using the same kinds of dirty gutter politics against Obama that the Rovians used against him in 2000.

http://www.counterpunch.org/madsen1101.html

>>>>>>>>>Rove's own tendency to be sick-minded originates with his mentor Segretti. The 2000 GOP primary was a chance for Rove to hone his skills in dirty tricks. His target then was Senator John McCain who appeared to be within striking distance of Dubya in South Carolina after the then-GOP maverick's surprise upset victory in New Hampshire. Rove's operation proceeded to target McCain with false stories: McCain was a stoolie for his captors in the Hanoi Hilton (this from a lunatic self-promoting Vietnam "veteran"); McCain fathered a black daughter out of wedlock (a despicable reference to McCain's adopted Bangladeshi daughter); Cindy McCain's drug "abuse"; and even McCain's "homosexuality." In the spirit of Segretti, Rove engineered a victory for Dubya but at the cost of trashing an honorable man and his family. Muskie, McGovern, Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, Hart, Tsongas, Clinton, Biden, Dole, Perot, and others had all seen the Segretti/Rove slash and burn tactics before.<<<<<<<<<<<<<

McCain has sold his soul for a shot at the Presidency.  Shame on John McCain.

A disturbing post.

Lento the whining liberal can't stay on topic without slandering a war hero named John McCain.

John McCain has owned up to this marital issues. He did so again at Saddleback.

No one ever said he was perfect.

John Edwards is an empty suit hypocrite who probably fathered that woman's child out-of-wedlock. He continues to lie to the press and hide this situation with his campaign money.

How do you run for president while having an affair in a post-Monica Lewinsky environment?

Lento despises McCain's status as a war hero. He despises the military and those who protect this nation. He despises military service and the whole notion of Service, God and Country!

It Takes About 5 Minutes of "Research"....

....to find the info quoted above. Just use google and youtube search engines.

My point is that you Republicans (I dare say some of you lick the very toilet bowl that McCain uses and call it sweet) are total hypocrites!!!

You condemn Edwards and Clinton etc for their pecadillos but McCain get's a pass because he's your guy.

McCain only "came clean" because it was already out so he put the best face on it he could.   Has he ever reimbursed Ross Perot for paying his first wife's hospital bills?

Hell, if a real journalist ever decided to do some real research into McCain they could probably find a thousand pages worth of human flaws and foibles and failings.  A bad temper and a bullying meanspirited disposition would be the least of it!

Meanwhile, you people trash Obama with a whole book that has been authoritatively exposed as a pack of lies and you think that's just fine.

Well, if you're going to lie about Obama you had better get used to hearing the TRUTH about John McCain!

Me On Country and Patriotism...

The greatness of American is found in the profoundly progressive values articulated in the Constitution and in the Declaration of Independence.

We were not a perfect nation at our founding, and we are not yet a perfect nation.

One thing is clear to me, and that is that the presidency of George Bush Jr will go down in history as the most foul and corrupt presidency in our history....and to the extent which John McCain enabled Bush's policies; then McCain is also tainted with that stink.

We still have a right to speak freely and to vote.   Thank God and the Constitution for that.

If anyone here has a problem with elections and/or free speech I suggest you move to China or Russia.  For it is YOU who are un-American and un-Patriotic.

Unlike the crap you people put out about Obama the videos of McCain being an asshole for the whole world to see are real.

McCain himself admits that he was an adulterer as does John Edwards.....yet you hate Edwards and love McCain.

Sorry folks, your hero has feet of clay, just like every other human being on the planet Earth.....only he's actually running for the presidency, so he gets scrutinized and criticized.

Obama is a saint next to McCain.

Oh and, speaking of free speech,  here's how McCain has treated his new wife.....in public......

Obama Has Not Yet Begun To Fight

When the truth comes out about McCain the American people will approve of him even less than they do of George Bush.

McCain has sold his soul to the political devilry of Karl Rove.....whatever honor and decency he may have once had is all gone.

The Rovians have pulled their dirty shit too soon...there's time yet for the power of truth, justice (and yes ;-) the American way to prevail.

And Sean Hannity remains just what he is...

Meanwhile, I want to see John McCain suing anyone for slander when it is reported that he called his foxy rich new wife a "cunt" in public.

If Obama had done that; he would have been immediately disqualified by all the people who have now drunk the McCain Kool Aid.

CNN is reporting in their film tonight that McCain was actually living with his new wife for 9 MONTHS before he was divorced!!! That contradicts prior assertions by McCain.

John McCain's policies will only serve to make war profiteers like Halliburton and KBR richer than they already are.

All Obama has to do is fight back and this race is over.

McCain promised to run a positive campaign based on the issues. He lied.

Is there anything John McCain won't lie about to satisfy his corrupt and perverse lust for personal power?

McCain Sells Out Vets.....

The man is a fraud.  McCain is a total fake and a phony.   McCain is all about fulfilling his own carnal and power lusts.  That's his history.

Whatever decency he's shown in the past he's abandoned by running a gutter race against a good man.   Obama is good, but he's not perfect....however, when compared to John McCain he and his positions are in line with the heart and soul of what's greatest about America.

I give McCain credit for surviving being shot down and his POW years...but that doesn't give him a free pass to the White House.

Try actually reading some well documented fact based material.....

(Emphases Added)

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>McCain Sells Out Vets
By Brian Beutler

The way John McCain tells it, the injuries he suffered at the hands of his captors in Vietnam would have ended his career as a Navy pilot were it not for the help of physical therapist Diane Rauch. And that's basically true: after months of painful treatment, he was well enough to pass his medical screening. But that leaves out an interesting part of the story. In his biography of McCain, Robert Timberg details the treatment McCain received at two naval hospitals. Navy doctors in Maryland were, in fact, McCain's first physical therapists, but they offered a bleak prognosis. Fortunately for McCain, the story of his imprisonment and torture was so widely known that strangers from across the country offered assistance. One of those strangers was Rauch, who provided her services at no charge.

There's little evidence that John McCain will do anything, if elected, to repair the damage the Bush Administration has done to veterans' healthcare.

As a vignette, it's charming--a POW, just released from a long and brutal stretch in captivity, finally stumbling upon some good fortune. But it's hardly a working model for veterans' health services. Most vets, after all, need government-provided treatment for the rest of their lives--first, like McCain, at military hospitals and then, unlike McCain, at VA facilities.

Thirty-five years after McCain's return to the United States, the Veterans Health Administration has undergone a sea change. Once a national embarrassment, it is now among the highest-functioning public bureaucracies. In fact, it's the best health system, public or private, in the country. (Military hospitals are a different story altogether, managed not by the Veterans Administration but by the armed services. To many, the words "military hospital" evoke images of the Soviet-style decay uncovered by journalists at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.)

Times have changed since McCain needed veterans services so urgently. And for many of those thirty-five years, McCain, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, the candidate who talks the best talk on veterans issues, has demonstrated a tendency to work against veterans' interests, voting time after time against funding and in favor of privatizing services--in other words, of rolling back the VA's improvements by supporting some of the same policies that wrecked Walter Reed.

During a March 2005 Senate budget debate, McCain voted to kill an amendment that would have "increase[d] veterans medical care by $2.8 billion in 2006." That amendment lacked an assured funding stream, but lest one mistake this incident for a maverick's stance against budget-busting, there's more. Just a year later McCain voted against an amendment that would have "increase[d] Veterans medical services funding by $1.5 billion in FY 2007 to be paid for by closing corporate tax loopholes." Two days after it failed, he voted to kill "an assured stream of funding for veterans' health care that [would] take into account the annual changes in the veterans' population and inflation to be paid for by restoring the pre-2001 top rate for income over $1 million, closing corporate tax loopholes and delaying tax cuts for the wealthy." That amendment died quietly, forty-six to fifty-four.

In September 2006 McCain voted to table an amendment to a Defense appropriations bill that would have prevented the department from contracting out support services at Walter Reed. The amendment was indeed tabled--by a vote of fifty to forty-eight, the sort of margin a true veterans' senator might have been able to flip if he really cared about veterans' healthcare.

"John McCain voted against veterans in 2004, '05, '06 and '07," says Jeffrey David Cox, who spent twenty-two years as a VA nurse before moving to the American Federation of Government Employees, where he serves as secretary-treasurer (AFGE represents employees of several federal agencies, including the VA). Cox is right. Under Bush, McCain has voted for measures that target so-called Priority-7 and Priority-8 veterans (those whose injuries are not service-related and whose incomes are above a low minimum threshold) for annual fees, higher co-pays and even suspended enrollment. Priority-7 veterans without dependents earn more than $24,644 annually. Priority-8 veterans without dependents earn an annual minimum of $27,790.<<<<<

And that was just part of the article.

If anyone can disprove the facts brought to light in that article, please feel free to give it a try.

And if you can't rebut the article....I look forward to your apoplectic surrender in the form of additional ad hominem.  :-)

Oh And By The Way....

Here's one definition of "slander"

>>>>>slander

A type of defamation. Slander is an untruthful oral (spoken) statement about a person that harms the person's reputation or standing in the community. Because slander is a tort (a civil wrong), the injured person can bring a lawsuit against the person who made the false statement. If the statement is made via broadcast media -- for example, over the radio or on TV -- it is considered libel, rather than slander, because the statement has the potential to reach a very wide audience.<<<<<<<

Here's an open challenge to John McCain, if any of the facts brought to light by the sources I've cited here are, in your opinion, slanderous; please please please sue for damages.

Sorry Johnny just being a "war hero" doesn't give you the right to be president. John Kerry was also a war hero, eh? You people told lies about him that didn't stand up to scrutiny. The very term "swift boating" practically MEANS lying.

Bush won an election based on Rovian lies, what's your problem with McCain losing this one based on well documented truths on what he did and how he voted?

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/02/07/mccain-darts-to-lock-down-conser...

This is a quote from REPUBLICAN Senator Thad Cochran (who's know McCain for many years.)

>>>>>>>>>“The thought of (McCain) being president sends a cold chill down my spine. He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper, and he worries me.”<<<<<<<<<

No doubt "Thad" has been pressed hard to recant and to bow down to the nominee; but I believe he was telling his truth before McCain won the primary.

McCain has become somewhat wacky in his lusty pursuit of power, and even this hardcore conservative REPUBLICAN Senator seems to agree!
