973-403-7836Â
Ringwood NJ – The Borough’s Municipal Republican Party Chairman Scott Heck and council members William Marsala, Linda M. Schaefer and Donna S. Anderson, have endorsed Kevin O’Toole for state Senate and Assemblyman David Russo and Wayne Mayor Scott Rumana in District 40.Â
Heck, a former councilman, said the O’Toole, Russo, Rumana ticket will be “a terrific help to Republican candidates in November and the most effective team of legislators in the state.â€?Â
“I couldn’t ask for a better team to head the ballot this year than the O’Toole Team. They are all proven fundraisers and vote getters. They appeal to people from across a broad spectrum. They know how to win and that’s what the Republican Party needs now – winners.â€?Â
Heck said Rumana, the GOP Passaic County Chairman, is a welcome addition to the already successful team of Assemblyman O’Toole and Russo.Â
“Scott brings a strong work ethic, immense knowledge of government and a good dose of charisma to the team. I think Scott Rumana will be an outstanding state legislator, said Heck.
Rumana, 42, has served as mayor of Wayne for more than five years, and previously served four years as a Passaic County freeholder. O’Toole, 42, has represented District 40 for six yeas in the Assembly. Russo, 53, has served in the Assembly since Assembly 1990.
District 40 is comprised of: Cedar Grove Township, Franklin Lakes Borough, Little Falls Township, Mahwah Township, Midland Park Borough, Oakland Borough, Ridgewood Village, Ringwood Borough, Verona Township, Wanaque Borough, Wayne Township, Wyckoff TownshipÂ
