RIDGEWOOD MAYOR, FORMER MAYOR BACK O'TOOLE TEAM

RIDGEWOOD MAYOR AND FORMER MAYOR ENDORSE THE O’TOOLE TEAM IN DISTRICT 40

Ridgewood -- Ridgewood’s current and former mayors have endorsed Kevin O’Toole for state Senate in District 40 and Assemblyman David Russo and Wayne Mayor Scott Rumana for election to the NJ General Assembly.

Mayor David Pfund said the O’Toole team “is as powerful a ticket as the Republican Party can put up. They all have great track records of winning elections and providing excellent service to their constituents.

Former mayor and current councilman Pat Mancuso said O’Toole who has represented Ridgewood in District 40 for 6 years and Russo who has represented the district since 1990, “have been effective at representing the interests of Ridgewood taxpayers in Trenton. I don’t see any reason we should break up this team that is obviously operating so well.

Pfund and Mancuso said Rumana is a welcome addition to the team.  “Scott Rumana, by reputation and by actions is a tremendous leader for his community. I believe he will be an excellent representative for District 40 and for Ridgewood residents, said Mancuso.

Rumana, 42, has served as mayor of Wayne for more than five years, and previously served four years as a Passaic County freeholder.

District 40 is comprised of: Cedar Grove Township, Franklin Lakes Borough, Little Falls Township, Mahwah Township, Midland Park Borough, Oakland Borough, Ridgewood Village, Ringwood Borough, Verona Township, Wanaque Borough, Wayne Township, Wyckoff Township
