Well, the day has finally arrived. Tomorrow is Election day and the day that the only poll that counts is taken.
If polls are correct, the results will be late in figuring out who our next Governor will be.
Much has been written and little of it has been complimentary to any candidate and or their supporters. This election will probably go down as the nastiest in NJ Political history.
We have seen the emergence of a viable 3rd party candidate proven by the fact that one campaign has chosen to attack a person with less that 10% of the polls conducted. The bottom line is very simple for tomorrow: VOTE!
No matter how good or bad you feel about the candidates, no matter how angry you may be, please take the time to exercise your constitutional right and civic duty and go out and vote. Do not let anyone twist your arm into voting for someone you don’t really support.
Vote for who you want to vote for, but vote. The 3 major candidates running have things no one agrees with, but they have put themselves out there and have taken time away from their families. They at least deserve the courtesy of you taking time and casting a vote for one of them.
If you do not vote, you are leaving the choice of who becomes the next governor of NJ to someone else because you did not make your choice known by voting. I can only implore you, once again, to vote.
Do yourself and all of New Jersey a huge favor and let your voice be heard and be sure to vote tomorrow for the candidate of your choice. Even if your candidate does not win, at least you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you made your choice known.
You are not doing this for anyone else. You are doing it for yourself and that should be all the motivation you need.

Oh and vote no on question #1. Good idea gone very wrong and there is no reason to give the government more money to mis-spend.

It's always about the shoes, aint it?

I just heard LaRossa wrote himself in and is leading in 16 counties. What will you do if he wins.
If the answer is hemlock, let me know I'll treat.
I agree with LaRossa...
I’ve voted 9 times already and I haven’t even left Bayonne. Amazing how patriotic it makes you feel. It’s going to be a long day since we all have big quotas to fill. I’m not complaining since I know the quotas in Camden, Trenton, Newark and Atlantic City are far greater…
The Karzai poll workers finally show up… They were held up at Newark Airport on Air Force One until they cleared customs… Nice group of people even though they are a little hard to understand… We put them in charge of delivering absentee ballots…
The Acorn folks are expected to show up around noon. We plan to use them for that all important GOTV at the numerous assisted living locations. They can be real sweet talkers.
Finally, I’m really impressed how organized things are up here. Everyone has a job to do. No one is allowed to just sit around. Ok, my break is over. Time to start voting again.. Take care and remember to vote.
If you are dumb enough...
to vote for Corzine, stay home and don't bother. I like this quote from LaRossa... the guy who smeared Christie in the primary with B.S. lawsuit fodder about Christie: "This election will probably go down as the nastiest in NJ Political history." It will go down as nasty alright -in part thanks to liberal Dick LaRossa who publicly slandered a fellow republican. Dick... doing his part for trashy politics and stabbing Republicans in the back.
A lawsuit that is working its way
through court. I guess time will tell.
I have to ask
Which candidate's sign do you have on your lawn?
Election update
We’ll, I’ve now finished voting around town…. Had to get it in before the other side showed up…. Headquarters told me they were shipping me off to Jersey City for a GOTV… It appears that Healy has told his people to stay home for this election… Something to do with getting snubbed at major political rallies by Corzine… Seems this Healy guy has some real thin skin….. Sending some folks into Hoboken to help Raia in his mayors bid…. A vote for Frank is a vote for Jon…. Actually, a vote for almost anyone there is a vote for Jon…. Turnout should be huge….. The union guys have showed up for the afternoon and evening GOTV….. They’ve guaranteed a 80% turnout of their unions… Gotta protect those stimulus jobs…. Acorn is finished with the seniors and assisted living locations and have now focused on the projects….We have plenty of those up here in Hudson….. Karzai folks doing a terrific job with the absentee ballots… They are good workers who do a great job helping folks fill them out…. I wonder who is handling the county correctional facility. Now I’m going to grab a bite to eat since I have time before the 5pm-8pm push…. So many lists…. There just isn’t enough time in the day……
I don't have a lawn...
I live in a senior complex. I have a Christie sign in my window though. Have a nice day Digit. See you at the party tonight to celebrate the Christie win tonight?
Did you move?
With all your holier than thou, who is more liberal than who crap, I just wanted to remind you of one of your recent hypocrisies. Party on!
Party like you didn’t in 2001 when you played the Scozzafava on Schundler.
"See you at the party
"See you at the party tonight to celebrate the Christie win tonight?"
Maybe Dick will be there. He better get there early though or there might not be any food left.
I wonder if Lonegan will show up and share the platform with Christie so he can claim credit for his victory.

Ahhhhhhhhhh so sweet...
Monmouth control back... Christie wins... local Reps win all over the place... shame the D1 guys did not win, but good effort.
A real shame
Rick, after all you spent and all that door knocking and vacations and all that.
Villare in district three did better and you tried to screw him. Maybe that's the ticket. Next time work against the races you want to win.
And Dick...
take this link down would you? It's just... well... stupid. http://www.thepublicneedstoknow.com/yougotmail.html
Fanov and those shoes
Dance, dance, dance.
Shouldn't you be crying?
All that money, a great year, a lost opportunity. Rick, what can I say?
You should take this down

"Victory"? Makes for sad reading.
