Win a steak dinner from Jersey Joe PennacchioHow would you like to have Jersey Joe Pennacchio buy you a steak dinner?
When the Morris County State Senator entered the race for the GOP U.S. Senate nomination last week, PolitickerNJ.com reporter Matt Friedman asked him what he thought about Anne Evans Estabrook receiving campaign contributions from Senate Minority Leader Mitchell McConnell (R-KY) and U.S. Sen. John Ensign (R-NV), the Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
“I’m a Jersey Joe. I’m an average Joe. Ask the average person who Ensign and McConnell are. If you get one person out of a thousand who knows who they are who’s not an insider, I’ll buy you a steak dinner,” said Pennacchio.
That’s a fair challenge. Sometime over the next week, ask people you know -- non-insiders – to tell you who Ensign and McConnell are. If you can get one out of the first 1,000 people you ask to get it right, e-mail us your name. We’ll pass your name on to Sen. Pennacchio, with the hope that he’ll keep his word and buy you a steak dinner. And since this is basically an honest state, we’ll take your word for it.
One more thing – the PolitickerNJ.com guarantee: if Jersey Joe Pennacchio doesn’t buy you a steak dinner, we will. We’ll hold a drawing of winners and send out a gift card.

What qualifies as an insider?
I like mine well done with a side of mashed potatoes.
An "insider" is . . .
Anyone who knows the correct identity of those two dingbats . . .
C'mon, let's not get silly
PolitickerNJ.com is called "inside politics for political insiders". Thus, if YOU are reading this story and and any comments thereon, you are by definition an "insider". Accordingly, you are disqualified by mere dint of the fact that you are reading this comment of have read the alleged "offer" on this website . . .
BUT...
What if you're a Democrat and you know who these two Republicans are? I think any Democrat who knows who these too are is entitled to a steak because by definition a Democrat cannot be a Republican insider.
I have a better question for Jersey Joe. How about he buys a steak dinner for any non insider of either party who knows who Anne Evans Estabrook is. I think she'd score a few points lower than Mitch McConnell.
Ensign?
I consider myself an insider, and I couldn't pick Ensign out of a lime-up.
McConnell is slightly more recognizable as a name.
who am i and why am i here
Do I win?

For all those who dont know Pepper.
Can they ask for a pepper steak ?
Reflects the Majority
I can see even Politicker thinks Pennacchio's candidacy is a joke. There just saying what everyone else is thinking.
Paying for The Steak
Can "Jersey Joe" affod to pay for the steak? He doesn't even give his dental staff health benefits. He hires only part-time employees to avoid paying for health benefits. Yet, he takes full-time benefits as a part-time legislator.
Oh wait, with the savings on the health benefits he can afford at least 10 steaks.
