POLICE PBA #64 ENDORSES NANCY WOLF FOR MAYOR and MICHAEL KORNFELD & GEORGE VALENTA III for COUNCIL HIGHLAND PARK, NJ – The Highland Park police force voted on May 24th to endorse Nancy Wolf for Mayor and Michael Kornfeld and George Valenta III for Council. “Highland Park is a great place to live and raise a family,” said PBA President Derek Wenskoski, “We are confident that Nancy Wolf will be a leader that is respected throughout the entire community, because she understands the needs and priorities of the police department. We also believe after speaking with Nancy Wolf, Michael Kornfeld and George Valenta that they understand the concerns of the residents of Highland Park and the importance of our first responders in the understanding the needs of the community. We feel this endorsement is in the best interest of the community we serve.” “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the police PBA,” said Nancy Wolf, “ My time on Council gave me the pleasure of working with the police for the betterment of the community. The police department’s most important asset is its people and it is through their professionalism, dedication and determination that the Department is able to provide a second to none policing service to the residents of Highland Park. On behalf of our team, we thank the police PBA for the vote of confidence.” Michael Kornfeld said “We are truly grateful for the endorsement. The unprecedented endorsement by the Highland Park Police Department PBA against the incumbent Mayor speaks volumes for what needs to be changed in the community.” George Valenta, III echo’s the sentiment of gratitude expressed by his running mates and stated “This shows what strong ties we have in the community.
