Congressman Frank Pallone is betting on the Rutgers Women's Basketball team to win the Women's Basketball Championship game tonight against the University of Tennessee. If Rutgers wins, Republican Congressman John Duncan will give Pallone a basket of products manufactured in Tennessee. But if the University of Tennessee wins, Pallone will send something unique to Rutgers. Pallone, whose district includes New Brunswick, has pledged to treat Duncan to several "fat cat" sandwiches from RU's "grease trucks" and a case of Jersey tomatoes grown on Rutgers' campus.
Fat Cats as popular sub style sandwiches that are sold in areas surrounding Rutgers University in New Jersey. "These sandwiches are famous the world over and have appeared on Food Network TV shows many times," Pallone explained. "A Fat Cat is composed of two cheeseburgers stuffed into a sub roll with lettuce, tomato, French fries, ketchup and mayo."
