(TRENTON) – Democratic State Committee Chairman Joseph Cryan issued the following statement this morning as the latest Quinnipiac University Poll shows Governor Corzine widening his lead over challenger Chris Christie to five points:
“Jon Corzine has pulled further ahead in this race for one simple reason. Every day for the past four years, Jon Corzine has been an honest, dedicated public servant, fighting for what matters most for New Jersey families.
“As we face difficult times, the governor has had to make decisions that are not always easy or popular, but the results speak for themselves. From day one, we have always been confident that voters would recognize that Jon Corzine has delivered for New Jersey families, becoming one of only a small handful of governors to make paid family leave the law, making sure more than 100,000 more children have access to health care and strongly protecting a woman’s right to choose.
“We’re up five points with six days to go as momentum continues to grow for Jon Corzine, Loretta Weinberg and Democrats across the state. However, we still have much work to do and people throughout this state will fight to continue to move New Jersey forward.”

And Just What is That?
And Just what is he fighting for? The politicians who run this state are out of their minds. This guy Cryan, is he talking about the right state? What has Corzine fought for? Higher taxes? More squeeze on the paying class so we can continue to pay poor people to stay poor? What about the rest of the state? There is more than newark or camden? Those 2 cities do nothing to support themselves...
Cryan pls tell me................
You and Gov. Corslime keep telling us that you are fighting for what "matters most"??? What is that? Giving out free handouts? Do you ever address what matters to the people like myself who have to work two jobs and my wife works full time so that we can pay all of our bills and real estate taxes?
And my kids don't get free pre-school. Nor do they get free lunches. Nor do I get assistance with my PSE&G bill. Nor do I get a homestead rebate. Nor do I get to deduct all of my real estate taxes on my tax return.
Maybe you can use the logo...........NJ, the State where working families that pay their own bills have one set of rules and the remaining have another set of rules.
But I better stop because someone here will call me a greedy racist pig. But just remember my family worked for every single things we ever got. That is what matters most.
