NIBOT FOR SENATE
NIBOT SAYS JOHNSON’S APOLOGY FOR LAROUCHE DONATIONS IS UNACCEPTABLE
CALLS FOR RETURN OF CLEAN ELECTION MONEY AND DONATION TO ANTI-DEFAMATION LEAGUE
BERGENFIELD -- Clara Nibot says Gordon Johnson’s apology for giving money to a known anti-Semitic group is unacceptable and that instead of demanding a refund of the $1,850 he donated to Lyndon LaRouche, he should instead give back to the taxpayers of New Jersey the money he has taken from the Clean Election fund.
In addition said Nibot said Johnson should make a sizable donation to the Anti-Defamation League donation.
Nibot says Johnson’s apology is insincere and inconsistent with his comments published in today’s Record. She said Johnson’s runningmates, Sen. Loretta Weinberg and Assemblywoman Valerie Huttle should break their silence on the matter and demand that Johnson return his Clean Election money.
I find it incredible that Sen. Weinberg has yet to condemn Mr. Johnson’s actions,” said Nibot. “I can’t believe that the senator or Mrs. Huttle would accept that weak apology from their runningmate and allow him to use taxpayer money to run a campaign.
“I am sure the people who Mr. Johnson took money from so he could qualify for Clean Election money are disappointed in him and would not have donated to him if they had known of his support for Lyndon LaRouche.
Nibot noted that: “Mr. Johnson’s wasn’t apologetic yesterday, when he spoke to reporter,” said Nibot. “He is only apologizing today because Assemblyman Gary Schaer has criticized him. He is not sincere and his statement is hypocritical.
“I commend Assemblyman Schaer for having the courage to condemn a member of his own party. Too bad Sen. Weinberg lacks that courage,” said Nibot.
Johnson told the Record that he donated to the Lyndon LaRouche Political Action Committee in 2005 and 2006 because he supported the group’s efforts to undermine George Bush. He also told the newspaper that he has heard accusations that the LaRouche group was racist -- “but has never seen anything to convince him that LaRouche is prejudiced.”
“How incredibly convenient for Mr. Johnson. He knew enough about the LaRouche group to support its work against the President of the United States -- but didn’t know of its longstanding anti-Semitism and conspiracy theories,” said Nibot.
“Then he says he “heard” the group was prejudice but never found any convincing evidence. That explanation would be laughable if it were not so tragic,” said Nibot.
“Mr. Johnson is career law enforcement officer. I assume he knows how to do even a cursory investigation of a group he donated to seven times,” said Nibot.
“I assume he knows how to operate a computer.”
“If this is an example of how Assemblyman Johnson makes reckless decisions with his money then it shows that he cannot be trusted to make decisions with the taxpayers’ money,” added Nibot.
Statements Made by Lyndon LaRouche
The following statements of Lyndon LaRouche are easily found on the Internet
"Zionism is the state of collective psychosis through which London manipulates most of international Jewry." -- "Zionism Is Not Judaism" Editorial, The Campaigner, December 1978
"America must be cleansed for its righteous war by the immediate elimination of the Nazi Jewish Lobby and other British agents from the councils of government, industry, and labor." "A War-winning Strategy", Editorial, New Solidarity, March 1978
"Judaism is not a true religion, but only a half-religion, a curious appendage and sub-species of Christianity. Judaism is the religion of a caste of subjects of Christianity, entirely molded by ingenious rabbis to fit into the ideological and secular life of Christianity. In short, a self- sustaining Judaism never existed and never could exist. As for Jewish culture otherwise, it is merely the residue left to the Jewish home after everything saleable has been marketed to the Goyim.""The Case of Ludwig Feuerbach", Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr., (under pen name L. Marcus), The Campaigner, December 1973
"Can one punish sheep for being sheep? The Israelis have behaved with monstrous, worse-than-Nazi bestiality. But are not sheep bestial? Are not the Israelis behaving with the bestiality of terrified sheep, driven to homicidal psychosis by their won bestial fears? What can be done with such bestial Israelis, except to transform them from bestial sheep, to take them out of the kibbutz sheep-pens of psychosis, and employ the method of the Platonic dialogue to transform them into genuine men and women of reason?" "Despite What Israel Has Done" Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr.,
The Campaigner, March 1978
"It is argued that the culmination of the persecution of the Jews in the Nazi holocaust proves that Zionism is so essential to 'Jewish survival' that any anti-Zionist is therefore not only an anti-Semite, but that any sort of criminal action is excusable against anti-Zionists in memory of the mythical 'six million Jewish victims' of the Nazi "holocaust." This is worse than sophistry. It is a lie. True, about a million and a half Jews did die as a result of the Nazi policy of labor-intensive "appropriate technology" for the employment of "inferior races", a small fraction of the tens of million of others — especially Slavs — who were murdered in the same way Jewish refugee Felix Rohatyn proposes today. Even on a relative scale, what the Nazis did to Jewish victims was mild compared with the virtual extermination of Gypsies and the butchery of Communists."New Pamphlet to Document Cult Origins of Zionism",
