North Brunswick Republicans Revamp Lineup

The North Brunswick Republican Organization is proud to announce that Jordan B. Rickards, a lifelong resident of North Brunswick, will be joining Mary Chyb on the November 2009 general election ballot, seeking a position on the Town Council.  The son of Drs. Robert and Cheryl Rickards, Jordan graduated from Rutgers Preparatory School in 1997 and from Liberty University in 2001 (magna cum laude), where he was a member of the National Dean's List.  In 2004, Jordan graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law (cum laude).  In addition to working in the Attorney General's Office and completing a Superior Court clerkship, he was also a prosecutor in Middlesex County Superior Court for three and a half years before leaving to start his own practice.  A member of Mensa and the Heritage Foundation, he is strongly pro-life, pro-union, pro-environment, and anti-tax.

Jordan Rickards will replace Thomas O’Neill, who respectfully requested his name be withdrawn, due to increased responsibilities pertaining to his professional career. “ I love North Brunswick, and will continue to work hard to assure that our friends and neighbors are all represented at Town Hall. Jordan Rickards shares my passion, values and commitment to North Brunswick, and will serve the people of our community with great pride”, said O’Neill.
O’Neill will continue to serve as Chairman of the North Brunswick Republican Organization.
Mary Chyb, North Brunswick Township Council candidate, said:  “I am very sorry Tom O’Neill could not continue to be a candidate for Township Council, but I am very grateful that Jordan Rickards joins me to give North Brunswick residents the change they told us we need, so that lifelong residents and young families can stay in North Brunswick with the families and friends they love.  Our taxes and fees and have driven people away from their families and out of New Jersey.  Jordan and I will give balance to the Council, and be a voice for North Brunswick residents”.  Mary Chyb, has lived in North Brunswick for over 30 years, is an alumna of Douglass College and Rutgers Graduate School of Education, and is a member of the Rutgers University Board of Trustees.  After a thirty-year career with AT&T, she now works as a consultant to AT&T.
