Building the New Majority Gains Momentum Down the Stretch
Grassroots Organization Focusing on Municipal and County Races across New Jersey

PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY, November 3, 2008 - In the final hours of the 2008 campaign, one organization is focused on helping to deliver the vote for local candidates across New Jersey.  The new grassroots organization 'Building the New Majority' is actively involved in nearly two dozen races in twelve counties across New Jersey.

"Our team of volunteers has been hard at work throughout the past couple months knocking on doors, making phone calls and supporting the field campaigns of local candidates throughout the state.  From Pittsgrove and Pennsville in South Jersey to Bloomingdale and Paramus in the North and several more in between, our team is focused on rebuilding the Republican Party from the ground up." Said Bill Spadea, President of Building the New Majority.

"With the help of our honorary chairman, John Crowley, our field director, Matt Mowers and the many volunteers giving their time and energy on evenings and weekends, we've been able to build a strong statewide network.  As we approach the finish line for 2008, we're providing support to local campaigns for the critical tasks of communicating with and turning out voters on Election Day," continued Spadea.

"When I needed help taking on a 15-year incumbent Sheriff, Building the New Majority provided the necessary resources and 'boots on the ground' that have helped my campaign. When I win tomorrow, it will be in part because of the great work that Building the New Majority has done." Said an energized Frank Balles who is running for Sheriff in Atlantic County.

Bergen County Clerk Kathe Donovan added, "Building the New Majority has really helped move my campaign closer to the finish line. Between monetary support and grassroots help in towns like Paramus, Oradell, and my hometown of Rutherford, Building the New Majority truly has been an asset to my campaign and the Republican Party."

Christi Calvano, who is running for Mayor in East Brunswick also praised the grassroots support from the new group, "It's great to have an organization dedicated to supporting municipal candidates.  I appreciate the financial and field support that our campaign has received from Matt Mowers, Bill Spadea, John Crowley and their team of volunteers."

Based in Princeton, the organization is also supporting Jim McSorley who is running a strong grassroots campaign for Mercer County Sheriff.
