AMERICANS FOR PROSPERITY
LAUNCHES INVESTIGATION INTO SECRET
“CLEAN ELECTIONS” MEETINGS.
Americans for Prosperity has engaged an investigative reporter to uncover the time and whereabouts of a secret meeting of Speaker Joe Roberts’ “Clean Elections” committee.
The clandestine committee is attempting to revitalize the defunct and unconstitutional “Clean Elections” bill designed to provide millions of dollars of taxpayer money to fund politician’s campaigns. The legislation collapsed under assault from taxpayers, angry that their tax money was being used to subsidize politicians’ reelection campaigns.
Also hurting the “reform” concept were revelations that the last pilot program was unduly influenced by special interest groups, particularly public employee labor unions like the NJEA Teachers Union.
Louis Sparre and a professional camera man have spent hours tracking down this “public” meeting and Americans for Prosperity will not give up without finding the answers and holding these elected officials accountable for their back room deal making. The progress of this investigation can be tracked by a series of short video updates on our investigators progress http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3w2Jhv9uzA
Part two will air Tuesday, August 26.
