PAULA SOLLAMI COVELLO DEBUTS CAMPAIGN COMMERCIAL
(HAMILTON) -- The campaign of Paula Sollami Covello will debut its first campaign television commercial this evening on local station WZBN to be followed almost immediately by another spot on widespread cable release. Together, the two spots will be run in excess of 1200 times between now an election day, communicating Paula’s message that there are serious problems in the Mercer County Clerk’s Office...problems that can only be corrected by cleaning house and electing a new Clerk.
The television spots will join over 1800 airings of Sollami Covello’s radio spot that coimmunicates the same message.
"You can’t buy more tv cable air time than we are providing to Paula’s campaign, said Mercer County Democratic Chair Rich McClellan, who added, “And, we are putting up a message that is true, that provides a convinvcing argument for change in the Clerk’s Office and that demonstrates that Paula Sollami Covello is the one to deliver that change!
The first spot, entitled, “I’m voting for Paula features individuals of diverse backgrounds talking about their support for the candidate followed by a strong message from Paula explaining why she is running for the offfice.
The second commercial, produced by the exciting firm of Murphy, Putnam & Shorr, makes a two-fold comparison between Paula and her opponent Cathy DiCostanzo. While opening with a feature about this summer’s lost of important documents in the Clerk’s office, the spot makes a much larger point about our elected leaders being willing to accept respnsibility for their elected office.
