McPherson and Ganz for Bergen County Freeholder

IF A TREE FALLS IN THE FOREST DOES ANYBODY HEAR IT?

If Kirk and Kaplan Ditch the Debate...Does Anybody Care?

Bergen County Freeholder Chairwoman Bernadette McPherson and Freeholder Vice Chair David L. Ganz today applauded Republican freeholder candidates Kirk and Kaplan for their consistency in message by ditching the League of Women Voters' Freeholder Debate.
"During a campaign in which they have said nothing and offered nothing, last night was no exception," said McPherson.

"You have to admire their uncanny ability to stay on message," added campaign spokesman Bill Maer.

Last night's debate was a marked difference from earlier encounters with the GOP's Not-So-Dynamic Duo. Gone were Kirk and Kaplan's patented partisan bickering. In its place was a candidate's forum filled with discussion and debate on real ideas to move Bergen County forward.

"When you have nothing to say, I guess it's better to say nothing at all," Ganz said.
