NORTH BERGEN - State Sen./North Bergen Mayor Nicholas Sacco was blunt this afternoon in giving his two-word answer to the question, "Who do you support for Senate President?"
"Dick Codey," said Sacco.
Hosting his annual picnic for seniors at Scheutzen Park on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Sacco declared his staunch backing of Senate President Richard Codey (D-Roseland), who after the gubernatorial election will likely face a challenge for leadership from Senate Majority Leader Steve Sweeney (D-West Deptford).

The deputy superintendent who gets paid $200K+ (more than the superintendent) because he spends so much time on the job between stints as mayor and senator. When will a bill pass reigning in bloated salaries of triple dippers who can't possibly even devote full time to a $200K+ job?
Corzine learns Mafiosoism with the best, Nicholas J. Sacco
There's a reason Mafiosos came to New Jersey. As Professor Marbach explains it in a recent Politiker.com article, NJ was forged out of good old fashioned Dutch and English scofflaws.
I was chagrined that my letter to Corzine about NJ SACCO fell on deaf ears. I forgave--you know, because of his accident that may have fried his good sense--but now I read how Corzine thinks NJ Sacco is the best NJ mayor ever. Now, what does a North Dakotan know about NJ mayors? If Saccos's the best then you just have to wonder how much of his brain Corzine left on the highway.
What Corzine did was to allow NJ Sacco to pick his cronies from among all the applicants--to a township job--that Corzine's NJ Dept of Personnel ranked #1. And. . .among these applicants was a 3 time returnee to the post whom NJ Sacco just had to have. Thanks to Corsica Corzine, he had his way.
And Cody. . .WOW, two birds with one stone cast by one Politiker.com article. I emailed this sucker saying that NJ Sacco just couldn't do 40 hours as Asst.Superintendent and still manage a mayoral and a legislative job and was, in fact, guilty of ethics violations according to Cody's own esteemed body, the NJ State Legislature. I never heard from him and now I know why. Cody, what's your moniker? Cody Codfish? (bacala?)
