Independent candidate for Governor Chris Daggett will file nominating petitions with the state Division of Elections tomorrow to assure his place on the general election ballot, according to campaign spokesman Tom Johnson.
Johnson said Daggett has already raised nearly two-thirds of the money he needs to qualify for public matching funds toward his campaign.
Having formally launched his candidacy on April 20th, Daggett this past Saturday spent two hours walking the beach and talking to voters in Cape May.
