Economist Peter Schiff of Connecticut is scheduled to endorse GOP gubernatorial candidate Steve Lonegan at a press conference this afternoon at the Statehouse.
“He likes Steve’s flax tax plan,” said Lonegan campaign strategist Rick Shaftan.
Schiff served as an economic advisor to U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s (R-Texas) presidential campaign last year, and endorsed Prof. Murray Sabrin for U.S. Senate in the 2008 Republican Primary.

The sides are chosen
Those with an interest in maintaining the status quo, or have ties to the Christie campaign, or have a grudge against Lonegan endorse Christie. Those that want to correct the problems in New Jersey, and want make the GOP stronger and successful again, and can actually do math, endorse Steve Lonegan for Governor.

I would add ... those that do not want to move out to another state should vote for Lonegan..
And those that ever expect to get anything out of their promised State pension (like teachers) should also be supporting Lonegan.

Nobody cares about endorsements. I doubt if 99% of primary voters even know who this guy is.
Now if Donald Trump endorsed Steve Looneygan, that might get some attention. Trump is the only person I know whose hairpiece looks even worse than Looneygan's.
