Whitman serving on Lance campaign finance committee
By Max PizarroFollowing her loss to state Sen. Leonard Lance last week in the 7th
Kate Whitman Congressional District GOP primary, Kate Whitman reached out to the winner and offered her help.
Today, Lance spokesman Amanda Woloshen confirmed that his campaign has made Whitman a member of its finance committee.
"She'll be an important member of our team," Woloshen said of the daughter of former Gov. Christie Todd Whitman.
Whitman's congressional campaign raised more money than any of her primary opponents.

While her campaign may have left a bad taste in some people's mouths, this is a very classy move. Nice to see Republicans coming together to help one another for once.

I concur that it's nice to see the former rivals coming together. I was pleased to receive last week - within a day or two of the primary - an e-mail message from Tom Roughneen's campaign not only thanking those of us who supported him for our support but lauding Senator Lance. Tom also asked all of those who'd supported him in the primary to give Sen. Lance whatever assistance we can as he gears up for November.
