Scott steers interlocutors toward toll hike issue

Moderator Eric Scott interrogates U.S. Rep. Rob Andrews on his support for Gov. Jon Corzine’s plan to increase tolls over a number of years by 800%. Does he still support it?, the debate moderator wants to know.

"No, because now the governor doesn’t support it either," says Andrews.

The congressman goes on to say that the state has a whining problem. Politicians whine about problems but don’t do anything to solve them.

"The governor stood up and attacked the problem, my friend the senator sounded like Republicans who whined about the problem," says Andrews.

"I support Gov. Corzine," U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg says. "The congressman jumped on the bandwagon with his support for toll hikes and slammed the commuters. I didn’t support it before and I don’t support it."

Rob Andrews, the governor has not "attacked the problem"; not when he says and does nothing while Democrats all over the state have been doing the perp walk for the last year or two because federal prosecutors are cracking down on their ethical lapses.  Corzine's way to address the state's ethics problem was to appoint the following as attorney general:  Zulima Farber, who resigned in disgrace; Stuart Rabner, who served less than a year; and Ann Milgram, who lists at the top of her accomplishments "spearheading investigations into Internet safety, consumer privacy rights, and college student loan rates," according to her bio on the state's website.

What's wrong with this state is Mims Hackett, Wayne Bryant, John Lynch, Joe Ferriero, Joe Coniglio, Sharpe James, Samuel Rivera, Alfred E. Steele, Keith O. Reid, Marcellus Jackson, Jonathan Soto, etc., etc., etc.

Thank goodness Chris Christie is addressing the problem because if it were left to Corzine, none of these criminals and alleged criminals would be under investigation for ripping off the public!
