This Spells Disaster for Ralph Caputo
Double Dipping Assemblyman/Freeholder Ralph Caputo together with Newark political boss Steve Adubato heavily backed the losers in all wards, financially, strategically and with manpower. The defeat of their candidates spells disaster for Caputo. He will also lose in Belleville (his hometown) in his June 3 Democratic primary against Bob Russo of Montclair. Russo will also do well in Nutley and Bloomfield and will blow Caputo out in Montclair and Glen Ridge to defeat Caputo overall. Then, next year, Ralph will lose his assembly seat. Oh well, that's what happens when you become too greedy and arrogant for words.

Ralph's candidates for BOE did not make it. Now the candidates he backed for Council went down heavily defeated. This must have Ralph concerned. With the Democratic Party and the powers in Newark be so quick to back him or any of his candidates in the future?
