Sayegh praises Rooney in Paterson
By Max Pizarro, PolitickerNJ.com ReporterPATERSON - Andre Sayegh, candidate for the Paterson City Council in the 6th Ward, today officially accepted the endorsement of retiring Councilman Thomas C. Rooney, a former Paterson mayor.
A member of the Paterson Board of Education, Sayegh is running for the 6th Ward seat against Illia Villanueva and Eliecer Montoya.
Rooney delivered his endorsement in front of the South Paterson Library Community Center in the heart of the 6th Ward.
