Democrats not ready to concede 4th district seat

Although Democrat Bill Collins trailed by 1,021 votes as of last night, Democrats say that there may be enough uncounted mail-in ballots out there for him defeat Republican Domenick DiCicco in the 4th Legislative District.

Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee (DACC) Executive Director Mike Muller said that mail-in ballots counted since last night have given Collins another 440 votes.

"There are reports of 1,000 more that are still out there," he said.

"The one thing we don't want to do is assume [a loss]," said Muller.  "There was such an effort vote-by-mail-wise that in that district alone there were something like 6,500 or 7,000 who applied for vote by mail applications, that we want to make sure we have a good, accurate count of everything that came in."

Incumbent Paul Moriarty (D-Washington Twp.) was the district's top vote getter.

Good luck with the recount...

ya sore loser... 1,000 votes? Really? Get real.

the sharks smell blood

Here come the lawyers.  No way Nocross can lose a seat in the heart of his playground.  The plan was just to NOT delivery Gloucester for Corzine. SJ Dems weren't supposed to give up a seat as well.  Time to pull out that box labeled "break seal in event of a loss" and open the emergency absentee ballots kit.

1000 votes is a lot to find unexpectedly but rest assured, they will find at least 1053 votes for Collins before the next legislature starts.

Moriarty/Collins Voter Fraud

Moriarty should be collecting unemployment. Both Moriarty and Collins Lost Gloucester County. Norcross wants both of these guys in the Assembly and so does the staff members who are hoping to have a job. Oh well I guess they were so busy rigging Moriarty’s numbers they forgot to rig Collins and now he’s out. Lawrence and DiCicco BEAT Moriarty and Collins in all areas of Gloucester County. Number came back on a timely basis and with honesty. NOT IN CAMDEN COUNTY: As usual Camden County did the tricky dirty and used mail in ballots, machine rigging and even a few detours to win the election. How can Gloucester County REJECT Moriarty and Collins AND Camden County allow Moriarty to surge votes after the computer came back up a half hour later. I’ll tell ya, Gloucester Township and Lindenwold rigged this election for Moriarty and when they find out, people will go to JAIL. The truth will come out. Not to mention the man who won Mayor has a sister who works for the board of elections. Those locals used a little trickery too. There is a list of many complaints by voters and poll workers that night. Camden counties numbers came back VERY late AGAIN. What does that tell you. They took forever and the Camden Counties website went down; it came back up a half hour later only to show a complete change in numbers and flipping all of the candidates who were ahead that ran against them into last place. If that wasn’t voter fraud what was it? DiCicco and Lawrence Won. I say do a recount of Moriarty and you will find the truth. He too should be on unemployment or in a jail cell for partaking in voter fraud.

Ballot Tampering to win election for Moriarty

If they even try it, they will find themselves meeting a Federal Prosecutor lickety slip. I agree with Robinson, Moriarty is walking on serious eggshells. A lot inconsistancies that night. People are starting to talk about what happened that night and it doesn't look good Moriarty and the Locals. Definate tampering with votes and those mail in ballots may be the key to all the fraud

MORIARTY/COLLINS

Collins lost fair and square, just like he did when he ran for mayor in Gloucester Township the last time around. Jim Beach pushed for Collins to be the new mayor when other Dems were opposed. Old buddies from Beach's Highland HS days where Collins is still employed as head grounds keeper. Why Collins, a drunk driving conviction, martial issues, no experience, why not?
