Assembly Minority Leader Alex DeCroce wants former Burlington County Democratic Chairman Rick Perr fired from his teaching job at Rutgers – Camden School of Law over his involvement in the New Frontier Political Action Committee.
Perr was forced to resign last month as party chairman after a news report tied him to the operation of the PAC, which was founded to aid South Jersey campaigns but donated money to arrested Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano, a Hoboken council running mate and Jersey City Mayor Jerramiah Healy.
DeCroce wrote a letter to Rutgers President Richard L. McCormick requesting Perr’s termination as an adjunct professor.
“Ethical lapses have significant consequences and it would be height of hypocrisy for him to continue teaching courses on Election and Political Campaign Law,” said DeCroce “President McCormick, along with the chancellor and dean at Rutgers-Camden Law School, cannot afford to have the school’s reputation tarnished by its affiliation with someone who cannot adhere to the same principles he teaches to his students.”
Perr could not immediately be reached for comment.

Wayne Bryant... Rick Perr
Let's hope their students aren't paying attention.
Hmmm...Perr is not a law professor at Rutgers...
I read the Assemblyman's press release and was shocked because I'm familiar with most Rutgers Law School professors and didn't recognize this name. What I found out is that Perr taught one course each in the Spring semester of 2000, Spring semester of 2002, Spring semester of 2003, Spring semester of 2004, and the Fall semester of 2008. He has taught no classes at all this year...neither the Spring of 2009 nor this Fall.
Then, I reread DeCroce's press release because I know him to be an honorable man and he wouldn't make up something that appears to be totally untrue. There it was...his staff pulled the info from Rutgers website which needs to be updated. Trust me...Perr can't be fired because he doesn't work there.
DeCroce is an idiot
What do you expect from a clown who winds up with a "klansman" on the GOP Assembly ticket in the 3rd district.
Not to mention all the other jokers running for Assembly seats as well.
With Christie's campaign going down like the Titanic it looks like he may drag Assembly Republicans down with him.
DeCroce will be lucky if he hangs on to his job after November.

DeCroce Looks Like an Idiot
Perr doesn't even work there. Good job Alex! What a totally stupid press release. Well that just matches the way the whole GOP campaign has been going this year. Christie is floundering like a beached whale & is bound to bring down a lot of GOPers with him. Corzine by 5, maybe even 6 or 7.
