Daggett brings out the impersonators again

Independent gubernatorial candidate Christopher Daggett is back with another advertisement that ruthlessly mocks Governor Corzine and Republican gubernatorial nominee Chris Christie with impersonators.

The nine-minute internet spot features a mock debate.  In it, Daggett – who is played by himself – comes off as the only candidate with specific government solutions, while an aloof Corzine looks at his hands and reads New York magazine, and an excitable Christie shifts between obsessing on jail, sleeping, bashing Corzine and even throwing his shoe.

Daggett, who laid out his tax plan at a press conference yesterday, tells viewers that “throughout this campaign, I’ve been the one candidate willing to tell you the truth and provide specifics as to what I would do as your Governor.”

Corzine’s impersonator sits back and lets his money do the talking.

“Sure I haven’t done most of the things I said I’d do four years ago, but Is pent a lo tof money wooing you then, and I’m showing you how much I care by spending a lot of money now,” he says.  “And you’re always on my mind, except when I’m out of state or over the river in New York.”

Christie’s impersonator mentions that, although his wife and brother work in the finance industry, the similarity to Jon Corzine “ends there.”

“Many have criticized my campaign for lacking specifics, but I promise you I will get around to that sometime after the election,” he says.

Mr 5%

His commercials, like his tax shifting plan and his fundraising are a total joke. The alleged property tax plan, just shifts the tax burden to those who would be helping to reinvigorate the economy and more importantly KILLS small business.  He's raised minimal since his initial shakedown of rich friends and family---thus proving that he has little broad support. He will be lucky to crack 5%.

Gorednj

I'm not sure if you read the polls, but he has repeatedly been in the 12-13% range recently. At some point you're going to need to recognize that he's a legitimate candidate. And don't bash his tax policy when the candidate you support hasn't proposed anything.

I went looking for the Web Ad and I found it here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4n-57dgc3o

Angry Dem

Sabrin polled at 11% and received 6% on election day. So
just citing history. And reviewing Mr Daggetts proposal and calling it what it is..,,is everyone's rite. As far as Christie, he's honest. He's promised to slash spending and address an incredibly bloated state workforce. AngryDem..., you know that they are scared of Christie because all the Unions are sending out their lies and distortions to their members. Conversely, 65% of voters couldn't pick Daggett out of a line-up.

Look, I'm not saying that I

Look, I'm not saying that I support the Unions. I think they're a major reason why we have such fiscal problems in NJ. Corzine didn't show any ability to stand up to them over the course of his 4 years. As far as my criticism goes, I think your faith in Christie is a little unwarranted/unearned. Plus, saying you will do broad things such as cutting taxes without any plan of where to do so is just plain old politics. I understand that he has a lead and it's in his best interest not to say anything, but NJ voters deserve better. He's just like any other politician who makes wonderful promises but will never follow through on it. As far as Daggett's name ID, it will probably go up through increasing coverage of the race in the news and through the debates. His name ID ratio to support ratio is through the roof.

3rd String QB

Similar to the back-up QB being the most popular player amongst fans of a losing team, I'll give you that Daggett is a popular reserve...3rd string QB. Daggett and a clip board---perfect together. 5%

Christie support unwarrented

Christie can not cut taxes. He already changed his campaign stump saying it will be 2 years before he can do so.

And even then, he won't be able. Try to find some indepepent (non-biased) news sources and you'll get the real story.

For example, here's a story you won't see on any pro-dem or pro-gop site. The findings are to inconvenient for their candidates.

The Associated Press had 3 independent economists review each candidates plan and independent economists agree the Daggett tax plan is best

Of Corzine's plan they said by raising sales tax, income tax and reducing property tax rebates Corzine has created a climate that has caused many businesses to leave the state.

On Christie's plan those economists said it is unrealistic, would create a huge budget deficit and would create a second sales tax.

Vote Daggett!! Say no more to politics as usual. Break the Cycle.

If you're afraid that a vote for Daggett is a Vote for Corzine, don't be because the polls show Daggett is hurting Corzine and putting Christie ahead.

See this Daggett Hurts Corzine and Helps Christie

You can be sure that you don't waste your vote by making the I'll vote for Dagget pledge.

The Daggett pledge is based on a simple premise, if enough people pledge their vote then you will vote for Daggett
