Congressman says Karl Rove is going to hell

DENVER -- Speaking in front of the New Jersey delegation this morning, U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-Paterson) said that former White House official Karl Rove – for years President Bush’s closest advisor – is going to hell.
Pascrell said that the last eight years have been full of squandered opportunities and missteps, both domestically and internationally, and pinned the blame squarely on the Bush Administration.
“We might have missed the last eight years because folks did not tell us the truth,” he said. “Dante’s Inferno laid out very specifically the very levels receding into hell. And the hottest place is reserved for those who distort the truth, who manipulate our minds, or who attempt to do it, anyway. So I don’t think Bush and Cheney will be at the hottest point in the inferno, but I sure as hell know that Karl Rove will be.”

"(Dennis) Shulman, a blind rabbi and psychologist, acted as if articles about him and his candidacy in Time magazine and the New Yorker, as well as an endorsement from the mayor of New York City, made him a celebrity and a serious threat to incumbent Republican Rep. Scott Garrett. They didn’t. Most people in his district don’t read those magazines or care what Michael Bloomberg thinks. Garrett’s district strongly leans Republican, and Bush won it with 57 percent in 2004, running more than 11 points ahead of his statewide total. Credible Republican statewide candidates always carry the district even if they are getting pounded statewide. Hey Bill,
How can you in good conscience throw any stones being a member of the democratic party? Doesn't lying, sheating and stealing give you a ticket to hell? My guess with all the liar's cheaters and thieves in the democratic party the next convention will be in hell.

As a person on Catholic Faith I am personally insulted by his comments or are we to only be upset when comments relate to race or sexual orientation? Pascarell must apologize and resign immediately.

First of all, in the Inferno it gets colder as you move down, not hotter. Plus it's traitors that are down there. Aside from getting his facts straight, Pascrell should know better than to throw political bombs like this around. He's a Member of Congress and represents 700k people. Sometimes I find myself in far left hate blogs and it devastates me to read the despicable things I read like wishing death on a great man like Tony Snow.
