Lance sees a double standard in Stender donation returns

Leonard Lance’s congressional campaign yesterday questioned why his Democratic rival, Assemblywoman Linda Stender, was so quick to give her campaign donations back to former Assemblyman Neil Cohen, but has kept larger donations from U.S. Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.).
Rangel has faced scrutiny for leasing four rent stabilized apartments in his Harlem home district—one of which he uses as a campaign office and pays for with campaign funds. Cohen resigned from his Assembly seat on Monday amid allegations that he had child pornography on a legislative office computer.
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has tried to make the powerful House Ways and Means Committee chairman a liability to every candidate he’s supported, and Lance has hammered away at Stender for on the issue for the last few weeks.
"It took Linda Stender five days to give back the $6,000 donated to her by Assemblyman Neil Cohen. But it has been 21 days since Stender fundraiser and supporter Rep. Charlie Rangel was reported to be under investigation for sweetheart housing deals and unethical fundraising practices. Linda Stender should continue to cleanse herself of all of her questionable campaign contributions and return the more than $20,000 she received from Rangel and cancel her fundraiser with him," said Lance Campaign Manager Amanda Woloshen.

Because Rangel is still a member in good standing in the House of Representatives, has not been charged with a crime, and may actually be innocent.
It's pretty clear already, given Cohen's entrance into psychiatric care and his resignation, that Cohen actually did view the porn on state computers.
The only reason Lance doesn't have similar problems is that he has so many fewer donors than Stender.
Seriously, if she gave back the $20K to Rangel she would still be more than a million dollars ahead.

Keeping in mind that Lance's campaign, taking into account his personal loans to it, is about 200k in debt, one wonders why he feels the need to make empty accusations towards Stender and her campaign contributions.
My question to Lance is whether he'll be returning the $1000 donation he received from BurlCo GOP Boss Glenn Paulsen?

Cohens behavior isn't linked to his office. He's just a run of the mill scumbag who happens to be an Assemblyman. Rangel is abusing his position to get a sweetheart deal. They should throw away the key for Cohen - he's a degenerate. Rangel should be thrown out of office and Stender shouldn't take money from criminals and expect to get away with it.
Losers always complain about the other person's dough.
If Lance had any beliefs that might qualify him as a Republican, he wouldn't have to whine about his inability to raise money.
You see, Leonard, all the tree huggers, gun controllers, abortion freaks and liberal wackos are backing Linda Stender. And since you've pissed off the farmers, business people, gun owners, pro-Lifers and conservatives that doesn't leave too many people does it?
