Gormley gets a building
By Matt Friedman, PolitickerNJ.com ReporterFormer state Sen. Bill Gormley just had a building named after him.
At a ceremony last night, members of United Here Local 54 and the non-profit heatlh organization AtlantiCare renamed an Atlantic City facility the William L. Gormley AtlantiCare HealthPlex.
The groups cited Gormley’s support for AtlantiCare’s Special Care Center.
“It is fitting that we are celebrating in the building that now bears his name—The William L. Gormley AtlantiCare HealthPlex,” said AtlantiCare President and CEO David P. Tilton,. “It is where so many of our residents receive the accessible care he championed.”
