Scotch Plains, NJ – Mayor Martin Marks, Republican candidate for Congress in the Seventh District, has won the endorsement of one of the nation’s largest conservative political action committees – Republican National Coalition for Life.
“I am honored to have the endorsement of the Republican National Coalition for Life (RNCL). I am proudly both a social and fiscal conservative,” said Marks.
“In Congress, I will stand-up for New Jersey’s strong sense of family and community. I will work closely with the other Congressional conservatives from New Jersey to protect taxpayers and stop the liberal agenda of redefining family values,” said Marks.
“Throughout this election, candidates like Leonard Lance and Kate Whitman are loosely defining themselves as conservatives when their actual experience and voting records say differently. I find it hypocritical that these candidates would carry such a banner knowing that all they are trying to do is fool voters,” said Marks.
“This endorsement is a testament for those who are truly conservative on all fronts and I am honored to have been recognized by the leadership of the RNCL as such,” concluded Marks.
Marks has secured the endorsement from other prominent New Jersey conservative organizations, including Republicans for Conservative Leadership in Somerset County.
“The RfCL decided to endorsement Marks, due largely to his consistent conservative stances on fiscal responsibility and the importance of low taxes, Pro Life Issues, Second Amendment rights, a strong National Security posture, and limited government,” said John DiMarco, Somerset County Coordinator for the Republicans for Conservative Leadership.
“We must come together and rally behind the true consensus conservative in this race, Mayor Martin Marks, who is the only candidate who can unite the winning Republican Coalition of social conservatives, economic conservatives, national security conservatives, and mainstream libertarians”, concluded Di Marco.
Martin Marks is a lifelong resident of the 7th Congressional District who shares the concerns and values of families and taxpayers. He is the only true conservative in the field for the Republican primary, and will bring core Republican principles on taxing, spending, national security and more back to Washington.
