-- Pro-Life, Pro-Choice or Multiple Choice??

FARMINGDALE -- "Pro-Life, Pro-Choice or Multiple Choice" asks conservative Gubernatorial candidate Steve Lonegan about Chris Christie's ever changing position on abortion.

For Immediate Release: Monday, May 25, 2009 -- Pro-Life, Pro-Choice or Multiple Choice?? FARMINGDALE -- "Pro-Life, Pro-Choice or Multiple Choice" asks conservative Gubernatorial candidate Steve Lonegan about Chris Christie's ever changing position on abortion.Lonegan's questions arose after the Associated Press reported discrepancies about when, exactly, Christie's claimed switch on the Life issue occurred.Christie told the Associated Press that his view on abortion changed in 1995 upon "hearing the heartbeat of his unborn daughter 14 years ago."But a July 1996 Bergen Record article -- a year after Christie claimed his position on abortion had changed -- has Christie calling himself "pro-choice."Referring to a resolution "banning" Partial-Birth Abortions in Morris County, Christie told the Record "I'm pro-choice."Christie now says he may have been misquoted."No one believes that for a minute," Lonegan told supporters gathered for a parade in Farmingdale.  "Chris Christie's position on abortion is the same as its always been.  He supports Roe v. Wade as the 'law of the land' and would 'enforce' it as Governor," Lonegan added.  "As Governor, he will continue untouched the pro-abortion policies of our state and do nothing to save the unborn," that's just one more difference between Chris and myself."Chris Christie's called himself pro-Life.  He's called himself pro-Choice.  But all he is on Life is Multiple Choice.  And that's true for just about every other issue as well," Lonegan told supporters. "And Republicans all over the state are starting to realize that," Lonegan added, "That's why I'm going to win."

Balls of Steel or just plain stupid

Lonegan needs to pack in this ego trip that has cost taxpayers millions. 8 days until he goes back to Bogota and dreams up his next adventure.

8days

I love that you have such seething hate for Lonegan go red. If you didn't that'd mean he was doing something wrong.

Did christie come up with an economic plan yet, or is he still learning how to add and subtract? Maybe he'll be able to tell me my income tax rate in 8 days if he studies real hard.

Are you surprised?

Christie's 'beliefs' swing with the direction of the polls and focus groups. On June 2nd I hope the voters affect a political abortion on him and remove him from the process. No plans, no truth and no real following ... Christie is not the man to get this state right. Go to a Christie rally and ask the people there who they work for; you will find most of them are employees of different factions of elected officials, rarely the average person. Look at the ELEC reports on Christie & Lonegan and you will clearly see who the people prefer. That is the poll that really counts!
