Congressman Wants Constitutional Amendment To Ban Choice
Even In Cases of Rape or Incest
Scotch Plains, NJ -- The National and New Jersey Right To Life Political Action Committees have spent thousands of dollars on behalf of Rep. Mike Ferguson in an effort to overturn Roe v. Wade. In 2006, the two committees have spent more than $16,000 in independent expenditures on behalf of Mike Ferguson.
Mike Ferguson supports an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to make choice illegal even in the case of rape or incest.
"Linda Stender trusts women to make decisions about their health -- Mike Ferguson does not," said Linda Stender for Congress campaign manager Ed Oatman. "Mike Ferguson is far too extreme on the issue of choice."
According to the National Right To Life website -- www.nrlpac.org -- the organization works through legislation and education to protect those threatened by abortion.
