Hsing is running as an independent in order to bring the substantive change that he believes the voters of New Jersey are looking for. Hsing is running on a campaign platform of: Economic Opportunity: In order to improve our economy, he believes we need to identify our industrial strengths and focus on developing new areas of domestic technology that will enable the US to prosper well into the future. Hsing also will introduce a simpler and fairer tax system that will not overly burden any American, while maintaining incentives needed to promote innovation and economic growth. Michael Hsing said, “Fairer taxes and continued growth in new technology will make our economy grow and improve everyone’s lives.” Energy Independence: Hsing said, “The United States must sunset dependence on foreign oil by 2020.” Hsing supports increasing domestic production and focusing on the wealth of renewable energy resources available to develop here in the US. Government Integrity: Hsing will fight government corruption and wasteful spending by ending pension abuse, cozy public-private relationships and advocating true transparency of all financial relationships. “The public demands government integrity and I will work in Congress to make sure they get what they deserve.” Hsing went on to say, “I look forward to a vigorous exchange with my opponents as I release the details of my agenda in the coming weeks. As I’ve explained my views to voters, I have been inspired by how many share my vision of an America that shines with greater Opportunity, Independence and Integrity.”
