Decorated Combat Veteran Chris Myers
Looking Forward to "Veterans for Education" Debate
Candidate applauds political activism of Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans
Mount Holly, September 3, 2008-Decorated combat veteran and candidate for Congress Chris Myers (NJ-3) is looking forward to his upcoming debate against John Adler that will be hosted by "Veterans for Education," a dedicated group comprised largely of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans that are quickly becoming a force to reckoned with in New Jersey government, business and politics.
The debate will be the first between Myers and Adler, and will be held on Wednesday, September 10th at 7:00pm at the Rancocas Valley Regional High School, 520 Jacksonville Road in Mount Holly. The debate will focus on veterans' issues and all questions will come from veterans.
The debate will be taped for later broadcast on The Big Talker, 1210AM and moderated by radio host, Dr. Anthony Mazzarelli. Members of the press and the public are strongly encouraged to attend what promises to be a spirited debate.
"I am honored to be a part of this debate and to be in the presence of these genuine American heroes who have served our country so bravely and so well," said Myers. "We must provide our armed forces with the tools they need to succeed on the battlefield, but just as importantly, we need to provide them with jobs, healthcare and a first rate education when they return home. I look forward to outlining my vision to do just that during this debate."
Members of the Press are encouraged to contact Bryan Adams, Purple Heart Veteran and President of Rutgers Veterans for Education at (856) 630-7757 for more background on him and his group. More information can also be found at http://www.veterans4education.org/.

Wow
Wow is that strategy going to backfire. Verbal-gaffing Chris Myers should be inviting the press nowhere, least of all to a debate where his opponent is accomplished speaker John Adler.
I should really attend this thing.
