Myers to Campaign for Congress Full-Time Takes leave of absence from Lockheed Martin until after Election Day Mount Holly, July 2, 2008-Congressional candidate Chris Myers today announced that he has taken a leave of absence from his job as a Vice-President at Lockheed Martin through the remainder of the campaign, and will be a full-time candidate between now and November 4th. "I have decided to take a leave of absence from Lockheed Martin effective immediately so I can dedicate myself to the campaign full-time between now and Election Day," said Myers. "Anyone who knows me, knows that I have never been one to do things half-way, and this campaign will be no different. The residents of this district deserve nothing less from someone seeking to earn their support, their trust and their vote for Congress." Myers Campaign Manager Chris Russell couldn't be happier. "Chris Myers, the candidate, is far and away our campaign's biggest asset and greatest strength," said Russell. "Having him as a full-time candidate will provide voters across the district more opportunities to meet Chris and compare his record as a decorated combat veteran and job-creating businessman against John Adler's failed record as a career, tax and spend Trenton politician. We couldn't ask for more." -30-
