Committeeman Sam Maccarone recovering

Woolwich Township, NJ - On Thursday October 22nd, Woolwich Township Committeeman Sam Maccarone Jr., a New Jersey Department of Corrections (NJDOC) officer with 16 years experience, was critically injured in the line of duty when the NJDOC van in which he was a passenger was involved in a single vehicle collision.  Committeeman Maccarone was airlifted to AtlantiCare hospital where his condition was stabilized and where he continues to receive treatment for his injuries and is improving daily.
Jon Fein, Committeeman Maccarone's running mate in the upcoming election, said "I was stunned when I received the news and my thoughts and prayers are with Sam and his family.  When asked about the upcoming election, Fein added, "Obviously Sam's health is everyone's primary concern, but Sam remains committed to serving the residents of Woolwich and is continuing to seek re-election.”

Well-wishers are encouraged to send their message for Sam via e-mail to GetWellSam@woolwichgop.com
