TOTOWA NJ, -- Anthony Rottino, a candidate in recently concluded District 40 Republican Assembly Primary campaign, will serve as campaign manager for Kristin Corrado, who running for election as the Passaic County Clerk this year. Rottino said he was asked by Corrado several days ago if he would take on the job and has agreed to take the position.
“I met Kristin only a short time ago, but I saw her on the campaign trail several times and I was very impressed with her knowledge and her ability to present her views,” said Rottino.
“I am very proud to be asked to serve as Kristin’s campaign manager and I look forward to working with her to secure a victory in November.”
Corrado said Rottino’s recent Assembly bid was well-organized and impressive and said his campaign experience will be a help to her county-wide run.
“Anthony and his running mate Joe Caruso ran a very positive, issue-oriented campaign that impressed me and lot of other people,” said Corrado, who vowed to run an issue-oriented campaign.
“I will run a campaign based on facts and issues that are important to the public and I know Anthony will help me reach that goal.”
“I believe Anthony’s recent experience, the contacts he made in the county and his work ethic will be assets to my campaign,” added Corrado, a 43 year old attorney from Totowa.
Rottino said his decision to accept the post of campaign manager demonstrates his sincerity about rebuilding the shattered Passaic County Republican Party.
“I said after the Primary Election that I was not walking away and that I was going to help Republicans win election where I can. I am keeping my promise. If I can help Kristin run a successful campaign, no one will be happier than me,” said Rottino.
