MICCO FOR CONGRESS

RUTHERFORD - It’s too late for April Fool’s day and too early for Halloween. So what kind of trick is Barack Obama trying to play on people by having New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine serve on his economic advisory team? asked Ninth District congressional candidate Vince Micco.
“I seriously have to question Mr. Obama’s judgment if thinks he can learn anything about how to run the nation’s economy from Jon Corzine,” said Micco, a mortgage banker.
“If voters want to see what will happen to America if Obama becomes president, all they have to do is take a look at New Jersey. Once they do that, they will flock to John McCain,” said Micco, an Iraq War veteran.
“Thanks to Corzine and the liberal Democrats running this state, New Jersey has the third highest debt in the nation, the highest property taxes, and is and is among the most overregulated states in America,” added Micco.
In addition, said Micco, New Jersey has one of the worst business reputations in the nation. “No one wants to do business in New Jersey; companies are fleeing Corzine and the Democrats.”
“If Barack Obama wants to do to America what Jon Corzine has done to New Jersey, we are in big trouble,” added the congressional candidate.
Micco said Obama should have visited New Jersey to find out what an economic disaster it has become under Corzine and the Democratic Party before taking advice from the governor.
“Jon Corzine hasn’t met a tax he won’t support or an entitlement he won’t endorse,” added Micco. “It is really revealing that Mr. Obama shares the same economic philosophy of Jon Corzine.”
On top of it all, says Micco, the governor lies to taxpayers. “Corzine said he supported the idea of letting taxpayers vote on huge state borrowing plans. Then he turned around last month and led the way for the state to borrow $3.9 billion for another wasteful school construction plan. Does that sound like someone you can trust to give financial advice?” asked Micco.
