Del Borrello Chosen to Fill Gloucester Co. Freeholder Vacancy

For immediate release:

Gloucester County Republican Executive Committee proudly endorses Christopher Del Borrello to fill the vacancy for Freeholder

Williamstown, NJ – Last night, County Committee members from all across Gloucester County made their way to Monroe Township to unanimously endorse Christopher Del Borrello, age 25, from Washington Twp. to fill a vacant freeholder position on the Republican Ticket.

Chris joins Ron Brittin (Mantua) for Freeholder and Chris Marrero (Mantua) for Sheriff at the County level; on a ticket led by former U.S. Attorney Chris Christie.

“It is on behalf of all Gloucester County residents, that I gratefully and excitedly accept this nomination for Gloucester County Freeholder,” Del Borrello said.

In his acceptance speech, Del Borrello stressed “a need for real transparency in our elected leaders and the actions they take on [residents'] behalf.”

With a County unemployment rate at a staggering 10 percent – a 20 year high – Del Borrello stated he would fight for “every single individual, regardless of political affiliation.” Furthermore, he promised to put an end to political favors, no-bid government contracts, and deals behind closed doors.”
