Gloucester County GOP Chairman Congratulates RNC Chairman Michael Steele
By GCRECWoodbury, NJ – The Gloucester County GOP would like to congratulate the new RNC Chairman, Michael Steele. Michael Steele was elected on Friday during the RNC Annual Winter Meeting in Washington. Chairman Steele stated that in order for this party as a whole to move forward it have to start from the bottom up.
“I would like to Congratulate Michael Steele on becoming the new RNC Chairman. “Stated Loran Oglesby, Gloucester County Republican Executive Committee Chairman. “After six rounds of voting, I feel the RNC members made the right decision in electing Michael Steele.”
Chairman Steele has pledge to empower the Republican Party from the local and state level to chart the party in a new direction. In his speech Friday, Chairman Steele wanted the local and state parties to know that he is here to help; Steele stated in his speech “Give me your plan, what are your Targets? What are your expectations?”
“Chairman Michael Steele’s acceptance speech should instill confidence in all Republicans that our party will now take a new and positive direction.” Said Chairman Oglesby. “With Chairman Steele opening up the lines of communication to the local and state parties, I look forward to working closely with Chairman Steele and the RNC.
