Finally, the focus isn't on New Jersey

this one's just stupid

again with the non-sequitur.  What does the statue of liberty have to do with the prostitute scandal?  He wasn't depriving anyone of their liberty, and he wasn't indiscriminately asking any woman he saw.

You were doing so well for a short time, and then ...

Spitzer

people should lighten up.  This is a great cartoon because it shows Spitzer is such a slime that he would even proposition Lady Liberty.

ROFL!

:D

ehh

Its just too obvious I guess. Its not terrible, just very very ok. Nothing exciting here. Oh and thank god he labeled Spitzer "Spitzer" how could we possibly get the reference without it. I only wished he labeled the statue I struggled with it for a while

Very Funny...

It's no surprise that some have misread it. In this day, too many people are overly sensitive and can't interpret anything, including a picture or cartoon, possibly coming from many different schools of thought. They only see it from the way they want to see it - as no other thought is the 'right' one. (I think there is a DSM-IV classification for this personality trait.) When you're an exec for a multinational company, you learn that there are many different ways to come up with solutions and many viable and differing interpretations of the issues at hand. People from different countries and educational backgrounds offer a colorful array of ideas. You either learn to accept other viable solutions and suggestions or you don't succeed. Not every thought a person has is a correct one - including governors (however, some governors are more open to admit they are wrong than others). A collaborative skill set and openness to other concepts and ideas are learned.

This cartoon, it's very simple: Governor of NY, accused of cruising for and hiring skirt, Statue of Liberty is a babe in the NY harbor, he'll proposition that as well. No nefarious thoughts or undercurrents going on here. But that's just my initial impression, without over analyzing it. Hey wait, if the Staute of Liberty is really in Jersey waters, then could that be a federal charge? LOL <-- I have to put LOL for some to get my humor.

Perhaps some interpretive art courses at college are in order to allow one to view art work and other matters from more than one thought plane.

Getting back to the story at hand...

I bet there is a Jersey connection somewhere. There always is.

There is always a NJ connection.  Just squint your eyes and cock your head and one can be found!  /sarc.

Remove the Comment Option

They should remove the comment option from Rob's comics b/c you guys really know how to ruin things. These comics are meant to be simple, humurous commentaries. But like everything else, you all look for the nefarious meaning or choose to critique with your oh so enlightened and oh so dry points of view (insert sarcasm). For the love of God people, lighten up and try to laugh...I promise your faces won't crack.

I couldn't agree more. I

I couldn't agree more. I find most of the cartoons funny and insightful. And I laughed my a$$ off at Eliot Ness up here.

I wonder how much he'd tip her. It's surprising how much a good Jewish boy was willing to spend on something he'd find in NJ for $100!!!

Even if you think this is funny

How can you call it insightful? What insight?

If you have to ask, you

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

"Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state." - Thomas Jefferson

Nice way of saying

I cant find any

Just another coincidence?

I heard that the $7 million that was used to research the Toll Road proposal went to the law form where Gov. Spitzer’s wife, Silda, is a lawyer.

I guess none of the thousands of NJ or even the other NY law firms were good enough?

No Jersey connection?  Try

No Jersey connection?  Try again.  The hooker was from NJ/Belmar.  At least NJ has job growth in one private-sector industry.

Not just the hooker, the

Not just the hooker, the managers of the Club were from NJ too. http://blog.newyorkcitycommunity.us/2008/03/06/manhattan-us-attorney-cha...
