Gov. Jon Corzine should have a moratorium on out-of-state campaign trips until he gets New Jersey’s fiscal affairs in order, says Assembly Minority Whip Jon Bramnick (R-Union).
“We need Governor Corzine to stay here in New Jersey and address the serious fiscal problems facing this state,” said Bramnick. “Rather than walking around in Florida to campaign for Barack Obama, Corzine should be walking around state departments and agencies and trying to figure out ways the state can save money.”
Corzine is in Washington today testifying on health care issues before a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee.

Unless HE is the candidate for president, he needs to be here addressing New Jersey's crumbling economy and other major issues such as political corruption, home rule, the looming socialist healthcare agenda of Joe Vitale and the tax, I mean toll increase, on the Parkway and Turnpike.
Dog bites man ...
Wait. The Republican Whip criticizes the Democratic Governor and it gets coverage? How about some real news.
Anywhere but New Jersey
When is Corzine going to actually campaign for someone inside his own state?
Meanwhile, someone let me know when there is a candidate for anything in this state who has asked Corzine to do an event with them INSIDE NEW JERSEY (Pallone's appearance with the Bearded One was in DC, not NJ).
As they say, no one wants to get photographed with this guy. He's as toxic as Joe Ferriero.
Valid strategies
Might not improved federal healthcare policy/funding, and fiscally friendly White House inhabitants, themselves have a significant effect on NJ’s fiscal health?
Christie Whitman? Tom Kean?
Road trips for political purposes? That's what Governor's do.The Governor offered a financial restructuring plan that would have helped to solve the mess .Republicans did not help. The best way for this Governor to help the state of New Jersey and all of the United States is help foster regime change in Washington.

Corzine is on job interview
I think it's more like a performance interview for Obama ...in so and corzine gets it were all doomed
MRB is Right
This is one big job interview for an Obama cabinet. He forgot about NJ taxpayers about the time he thought he'd get a job in the Clinton cabinet.
I'm assuming at least he's paying out of his pocket for all these trips.
Hope he gets the job
I hope he gets the job. That'll get him out of New Jersey (he doesn't want to be here anyway). Hopefully, he'll get a job where he can't do any damage. Ambassador to Namibia maybe.
