Corzines Jusgement on this bum
A quote from the Record...
Corzine saw no reason why a highly publicized FBI raid of Ferriero's law offices the day before should be grounds to keep Ferriero away from the Democratic National Convention this week.

republican comments
You republicans make this old man sick. You claim to love America but you do not believe in one of the basic principles of America and that is "innocent until proven guilty". Better men than you have died for that principle so if you don't believe in the American way you might want to try moving to Moscow.
Smart & Sharp
While we might not be giving him the innocent to proven guilty I do believe he is a smart/sharp man and most of this would not be coming to light if not probably with not some truth to it.
Political Cancer
vet, the Guy is innocent until proven guilty. We get it. How much political and moral fecal matter do you have to step in without it sticking to your shoes.? Nodoubt you will stick with this corrupt outfit until the end.
Got it Backwards Vet
When it comes to Ferriero the rule reads:
"Innocent regardless of how many times he's proven guilty."
Zulima Farber was an Omen! The Ferriero and his goons
have a history of "assaulting people" I for one was most definitely assaulted at the Closter Poll and all day long...Everything that happened has been reported...I trust the process and the laws of Karma!
The big idea here: Is to keep telling the truth in writing and verbally. And it's never ever failed me before. Have the guts to put the truth out there and stay on it
P.S.
And Broy you have fecal matter on all your pol operative and phoney shoes and snake oil saleman boots.
The Rape of the Bergen County taxpayer
after years of arrogance, and pay to play bullying and the selfish feeding frenzy from the wallets of the Bergen taxpayer. The agents of this self proclaimed suburban dictator are remaining just as arrogant, as they are about to be engulfed in a political, ethical, moral and criminal tidal wave .
Lord Acton's two quotes come to mind...
"Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
"The one pervading evil of democracy is the tyranny of the party that succeeds, by force or fraud, in carrying elections."
This goes for the national GOP and the BCDO.
Vin, I Hope You're Right....
About Coniglio "singing".
I would love to Ferierro himself "sing". He's just a powerbroker/middleman.
There are far bigger fish to fry than him, people whose names never make it into the media. If Ferierro ever decides to come 100% clean there will be scores of trials and convictions.
The whole system is built on the corrupt foundation of legalized pay to play bribery...but there clearly is a nexus of ongoing criminal co-ordination that should be federally prosecuted using RICO statutes.
So far, this is just election year bullshit designed to put on a show.
Until I see some indictments and convictions....this is just another sham designed to give the appearance that something is being done.
It wouldn't surprise me a bit if Joe is "cleared" and back on his throne next year.....and I would love to be wrong on that.
It's the SYSTEM stupid.

The Chairman's demise or lack of it..
DON'T count Joe out just yet.
As a 40 year Democrat and Hillary supporter, I am ashamed of the Obama-cide the party is going through. He will lose the Presidential campaign and hopefully drag down all the saprophytes that betrayed the Democratic voters of the State. WE VOTED FOR HILLARY and the State mutts/delegates gave it to him - we the people did not!
I do have to say though that it would be fun to see a new Sheriff in town if God forbid B. Hussein does get elected. Wouldn't you just love to see a front page investigation into The Christie Mistrials contract awarding to Ashcroft?
Just a thought......
Christie Busts Ferierro: Too Little and Too Late....
(crosspost from BlueJersey) http://www.bluejersey.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=8975
..... but certainly better late than never.
Yes, Christie clearly deserves some faint praise here; but the timing of these seemingly solid and air tight indictments raises questions.
The corruption is systemic and has been going on forever. These kinds of sweetheart deals are "normal" in Bergen County and throughout the state.
What makes this case fairly easy to make is that Ferierro was arrogant and stupid enough to actually have his own name on the ownership papers of the business raking in the cash.
These kinds of influence peddling and kickback schemes go on all the time.....but to bust the systemic corruption would require the use of real investigations, RICO powers and even (heaven forbid!) investigations!
Christie's office has been alerted to various types of irregularities by all manner of whistle blowers and concerned citizens over the years.....yet now, eight weeks before an election, in Christie's final months in power and just before he gets involved running for governor...now, he finally decides to bust Ferierro and a crony.
When corruption, whether it's corporate, governmental or your run of the mill mafia/drug lord types, is systemic; the RICO statutes must be utilized.
It will likely be up to Mr Christie's successor to get convictions in these cases; I hope Christie hasn't left any escape hatches for the perps to squeeze through after November 09 has passed.
Even if Ferierro is eventually convicted, this would be like Capone being busted for tax evasion....the real/deeper network is all still there and that is what must be attacked.
So, let us not get carried away and fall in to the trap of thinking that this one "bust" somehow redeems Christie for all his many sins.
Christie remains a self serving partisan hack who is finally doing a bit of good work because it burnishes his image in time for a run for governor.
Now, if Christie manages to move guys like Coniglio, Ferierro and Oury to spill their guts and he uses his RICO powers and we see raids on hundreds of newly indicted NJ pols (and their corporate owners) sometime in December; well then I'll be pleased to eat my hat!
