WISNIEWSKI LOOKS TO SEAMLESS DOT TRANSITION
Assembly Transportation Chair Praises Kolluri Tenure,
Eyes Continued Strong Cooperation with Incoming Commissioner Dilts

(SAYREVILLE) - Assemblyman John Wisniewski today praised the tenure of state Transportation Commissioner Kris Kolluri - who has been appointed to head the state's Schools Development Authority - and said he looks forward to forging a strong working relationship with incoming DOT Commissioner Steve Dilts.

Wisniewski (D-Middlesex) released the following statement:

"Kris Kolluri has always been accessible and never considered any transportation issue unworthy of discussion.

"Kris always understood that our state's economy is invariably tied to maintaining a top-notch transportation system, whether it comes to the New Jersey Turnpike or a rural state byway.

"I also greatly admired Kris' willingness to tackle controversial issues that were decades in the making, no matter their standing in the polls.

"I look forward to continuing my strong working relationship with the DOT and building a partnership with Acting Commissioner Steve Dilts.

"I wish Kris well as he takes on his new responsibilities at the SDA and offer my help and assistance to Steve as he looks to build upon the tremendous work DOT has undertaken over the past three years."
