ROBERTS WELCOMES ANNETTE QUIJANO TO ASSEMBLY MAJORITY CAUCUS
(TRENTON) -- Assembly Speaker Joseph J. Roberts, Jr. (D-Camden) today congratulated Assemblywoman Annette Quijano on her selection last night to fill a vacancy from the 20th Legislative District (Union County).
Roberts (D-Camden) issued the following statement:
"With the addition of Assemblywoman Quijano, the General Assembly continues to mirror more and more the diversity that makes New Jersey such a special place.
"As a former Union County official and most recently as assistant counsel to Governors Corzine, Codey, and McGreevey, Assemblywoman Quijano brings a strong background to her new duties and an equal commitment to improving schools, protecting seniors and controlling property taxes.
"I welcome Assemblywoman Quijano to the Assembly Majority caucus and look forward to working with her as we continue advancing policies that will strengthen New Jersey."
