There will be no Democratic Primary for two Assembly seats in district 4, according to Gloucester County Democratic Party Chairman Michael Angelini.
Independent Democrat John Caramanna is no longer in the primary race with incumbent Assemblyman Paul Moriarty of Washington Township and Sandra Love of Gloucester Township, the two organization-endorsed candidates. In the aftermath of the filing deadline earlier this month, on Angelini’s orders, the county committee filed a challenge of Caramanna's primary petition with the state Office of Administrative Law. Late last week, a judge indicated the candidate would not be permitted to continue.
“When he filed against the endorsed ticket, he did not have the requisite signatures pursuant to law, Angelini said.
The chairman said Caramanna had submitted a signed petition that contained names of people who were either not registered voters or who did not reside in district 4.
Love, the former Mayor of Gloucester Townshi, is seeking the seat of retiring two-term Democrat David Mayer.

Money talks . . . Democrats
Money talks . . . Democrats walk. Republican Conscience
Curiosity
Does anyone know exactly how many signatures were submitted?
How many were rejected? Why? The details would be interesting.
Are there any journalists out there? What's the story???
Are these "administrative law" court hearings/decisions on public record?
Are they published anywhere on the net?
If not, why not?

Re: "Republican Cons"
There are "cons" going on from both parties all the time.
The deeper systemic problem is the way BOTH parties get money to "finance" their campaign operations.
There is virtually ZERO incentive to get ordinary people informed, active, and voting....on the contrary; it's a game of getting enough money to selectively target a narrow band of a particular "demographic" to come out and pull levers in service to a "special interest".
The name of the game is legalized bribery...and it is rampant in BOTH parties.
By the way, have you noticed that we have a thouroughly corrupt and painfully inept administration in Washington???
It's THE SYSTEM, stupid.
America's problems are far more complex than "libs vs cons"; that's the fairy tale/story line we're fed by a corporate owned mass media that enjoys the status quo.
Ideally, good Democrats and good Republicans would unite in common cause to throw all "the bums" out and solve the fundamental problems/diseases that infect the body politic as a whole.
Ideally/Ideal: Yes, ideals. Remember them?

Candidate bows out
There you have it folks all you need to know. Not from the judge or election official but from none other than Mr. King Bimbo himself the Gloucester County Democratic Party Chairman. What a joke they can hardly rub two sticks together and there they are your choices from that wonderful party of corruption and sleaze. What a group, what a choice – Its New Jersey.
Two elected Bozo's write BS
I just read the identity theft bill that Moriarty and Love Passed, but I can't understand how those two BOZO's passed a bill. I went to their office in Gloucester Township and it had a big old note on the door that said "This office is Closed"
I talked to a couple of people who said Love likes to hide from people because she is not in NJ alot and spends most of her time in Florida, just like she did when she was a Mayor. (MUSICAL CHAIRS)
When we finally found where she was hiding, we found out that the owner of the new place she's at is her friend. I guess that move cost us taxpayers for her to pay her friends.
(why was this fool elected)
She claims she wants to protect peoples identity, yet her new office has NO privacy for the people. I suppose the people she wants to protect are those she is exploiting. Peoples business, social security numbers and medical information. Somebody call the FBI.
Fix your office first and then write bills that are meaningful. You ain't protecting nobody. Both Moriarty and Love should be locked up for violating privacy in their own offices. Moriarty was an investigator for the news, he should know better.
This is the perfect example of whose on first base? Two idiots in trenton, washington township, gloucester township and Florida...
