Carlstadt – Republican District 36 Chairman Joseph Crifasi is backing Assemblyman Kevin O’Toole to be the next state Senator in District 40.
 He is also endorsing Assemblyman David Russo for re-election and Wayne Township Mayor Scott Rumana for the second Assembly seat in the district that covers parts of Bergen, Passaic and Essex counties.Â
Crifasi, a councilman from Carlstadt, said O’Toole, who is Republican Chairman of Essex County, “ is proven vote getter a great fundraiser and one of the best legislators in Trenton.�  No one I know in government or politics works harder than Kevin O’Toole,� says Crifasi, whose 36th District includes Nutley in Essex County.
“I think Kevin will be an outstanding senator and his ticket will help Republicans in Bergen County.â€?  Crifasi said the O’Toole, Russo, Rumana ticket “is a strong ticket that guarantees victory in District 40, and allows the Republicans to put their resources into other areas, such as District 36.â€?Â
