A Call to Unity
by Peter F. Boyce, Constitution Party Candidate for Congress NJ-2
This presidential election, more than any of the past, has the potential of dividing America along political, social, gender, and even racial lines. Questions concerning the legitimate citizenship qualifications of both Senators McCain and Obama have been raised and will not be resolved in court before the election. The enemies of American liberty and prosperity would like nothing better than to see Americans embroiled in another civil war and/or living under martial law. These unresolved issues could be used as a wedge to foment criminal acts and social upheaval. (There is no question about the Constitution Party's presidential candidate, Dr. Chuck Baldwin's, citizenship qualifications.)
As Constitution Party candidate for Congress, my primary concern beyond this election is the continued survival of America as a free and independent Republic. Democrats, Republicans and constitutionalists of all races must resist the temptation to let hatred and personal ambitions overrule their love of America. Regardless of political party, social status, gender or race, we must think of ourselves first as Americans and America as "ONE nation under God."
