Corzine's out of state campaign contributions are down
By Wally EdgeSince taking office in January, Governor Jon Corzine has cut back on his contributions to federal candidates and political action committees. He gave $559,000 in 2004-2005, but just $111,200 this year. Corzine gave $100,000 to a 527 political committee run by the Democratic Governors Association, $4,200 to Assemblywoman Linda Stender's congressional campaign, $2,000 to the re-election campaign of Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow, and $5,000 to the Rocky Mountain PAC.
