Corzine reappoints Fox, dumps Bator for Randall
By EditorGov. Jon Corzine has appointed former Assemblywoman Elizabeth Randall to hold one of the Republican seats on the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, and has reappointed BPU President Jeanne Fox to another term.
Corzine opted for Randall, who held two cabinet posts in Gov. Christine Todd Whitman’s administration, rather than reappoint Christine Bator. Bator took her seat in 2006 to fill the unexpired term of Carol Murphy. Randall has been out of office since losing a GOP primary for re-election to the Bergen County Board of Freeholders in 2006.
Last month, Corzine named former State Sen. Nicholas Asselta to fill the other Republican BPU seat. Asselta is awaiting Senate confirmation.

fearing the loss of their jobs after today's budget briefing, and you reappoint this loser! Need I remind you, she broke State rules (and laws just can not cite now), your administration has spent over $1million in defending the Queen and her Posse for their illegal actions - you still have to spend, I am sure, millions in punitive damages to settle for the retailation Mr. Potena has endured not to mention compensatory damages since he has suffered health issues as a direct result of the work related stress! God have mercy on you and your clan on judgement day!
Is she worth it?
I hope so because the BPU has been mired in scandal under her tenure... corrupton allegations, whistle blower suits, allegations of discrimination..that's a lot to support. If he feels so strongly about her he should be able to find her something in the private sector. I think that place like the school construction company needs a fresh start. What's message and media? Her consulting firm?

Jeanne Fox is the single worst manager in all of State government. Her solar program was rife with cronyism. She hired all sorts of trash patronage folks at BPU (unsuccessful candidates for office, Golan's relative, half a dozen former McGreevey aids), she increased staffing dramatically, she added substantial square footage to a lease of a building in Newark that is some of the most expensive building in the State). How about all the travel of her freinds at BPU? How about her own travel? I won't even start down the road of putting tens and hundreds of millions of dollars off the state accounting system and given out grants without proper document retention that resulted in a million dollar whistelblower case. DISGUSTING... DISGUSTING... DISGUSTING. Every State employee in this state should be up in arms at Corzine... why does he support renominating such an incompetent idiot? What is the real answer? What a JOKE! YOU MAKE ME WANT TO PUKE CORZINE!!!
Repeat Offender
At least Corzine is consistent: reappoint political cronies who pad their payrolls with patronage appointees and mismanage the public's money...just like when Susan Bass Levin was brought back to the DCA...maybe Jeanne will land a plum post making $250K a year like good ol' Susie, that is, if she survives the whistleblower trial. And when will Elizabeth Randall get a real job and stop eating at the public trough.
Finally - smooth move in slipping these nominations in the day of the budget speech. Let's hope the Senate Judiciary Cmte pays more attention and gets it right this time.

Lisa Randall never had both feet planted in the BCRO and it is very clear. Kathe Donovan is of the same cut as Randall and both are now reaping rewards for destroying the BCRO by picking up apointments from the Democrats.
Ortiz, too is playing footsy with the Democrats at is day job and screwing the BCRO to advance his career.
