Statement from Assemblywoman Charlotte Vandervalk on the Corzine Campaign's Baseless, Misleading Health Care Attacks

PARSIPPANY, NJ - Today, Assemblywoman Charlotte Vandervalk released the following statement regarding the Corzine campaign's baseless and hypocritical attacks on Chris Christie's health insurance plan:

"As a co-sponsor of the bill allowing access to a version of mandate-free health care plans, Senator Loretta Weinberg should have known better before she started to baselessly attack Chris Christie's plan to offer uninsured New Jerseyans access to health care.  Chris' plan to expand access to health care must be enacted to ensure that the 1.4 million uninsured New Jerseyans can afford insurance for themselves and their families.  The Corzine campaign has consistently misrepresented this issue to scare women in our state and they should be ashamed.  It is time for them to set the record straight, tell the truth and apologize for their unfounded attacks on Chris' plan and his character."
